We took the kids to the pond down the street to fish. Jeremy has a new "Lightning McQueen" rod, and Annaleise has a princess rod. Elijah likes to fish with the big people rod. They each caught 5 fish!

Field Day for Annaleise and Jeremy

Jeremy and Annaleise had a great time at Field Day. They played tag, hoola-hoop, jumprope, and basketball. I 'm not sure they realized that this was a special day -- it seemed like recess to them!

Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day! The kids were very excited for me to open their gifts. Elijah made a ceramic wall hanging for me and gave me a planted flower. I had an entire bag full of pictures and drawings that he had worked all week on. He even made me a paper tiara with a matching paper diamond ring! All day they said "Happy Mother's Day!" with an occasional "Happy Birthday Mom!" :)

Annaleise and Jeremy each made me a book. I love how Annaleise draws me with high heels, 3 purses, rosy cheeks and eyebrows.
